Jaime Gonzalez Vallejo, 26 years old, borned in Spain, I am Environment Artist and Engineer in Industrial Design.
I am currently living in Madrid, Spain, working at TequilaWorks as Environment Artist on a Virtual Reality project called The Invisible Hours. Thanks to this experience I was honored to be Speaker at the GDC San Francisco 2017 on a talk titled: “Building the Stage for an Immersive VR Theater Experience”.
I finished my university studies in industrial design five years ago and since then I have been completely focused in Videogame Art and Rendering. I completed a Master in 3D Animation, in which I developed a generalist profile. After this, I published my first demoreel and within one month I was already working as an outsourcer artist for Crytek at Elite3D (Valencia, Spain). I got in contact immediately with the next-gen videogames features by developing some environments of Ryse: Son of Rome, Homefront: the Revolution and other popular titles and developers. Then, in Finland, I was at Remedy participating in their last project, Quantum Break. I also spent a few months at SplashDamage in London and I worked on the Gears of War 4 Multiplayer Maps.
I master the latest modelling, sculpting and texturing techniques and I am familiarized with the environments of a next-gen AAA videogame. Other strengths are lighting, photography and sketching.
